5 of the best law of attraction books to change your reality
It's time to build those manifestation muscles.
People have strong opinions about manifestation. I know I did.
I stumbled into the Law of Attraction during one of the lowest points of my life. A mix of financial, relational, and physical challenges began to define my every waking moment. I was exhausted in every way a human can be and decided to make a list: seven things that would define my dream life.
Once I wrote them down, I felt drawn to New Thought materials and found myself neck-deep in research for months. Fast-forward to today (about 3 years later) and all but one of those seven items have come true. Seriously, I'm as shocked writing that as you may be reading it!
The books below are not magic. They won't immediately give you what you're looking for. But, they will change the way you think about how the world works. And in my experience, that is how you invite magic into your life.
The Secret
Every thought of yours is a real thing β a force. β Rhonda Byrne
Modern New Thought owes a lot to Rhonda Byrne's massively successful title. Although it can oversimplify how the law of attraction (LoA) works in real life, it is still one of the best titles to begin with.
In this book, Byrne shares a collection of stories, including her own, about the power of LoA to change lives. These include tales of miraculous healing, financial windfalls, and fairy tale romantic partnerships.
If nothing else, the text does an excellent job of showing readers what is possible with manifestation. There really are no limits. And what better proof is there than the book itself: a project written by a first-time author that's gone on to sell over 35 million copies.
The Last Law of Attraction Book
Relax. Trust. Let it in. Itβll happen, friend. Itβs already happening. And the faster you let go, the quicker itβll come. β Andrew Kap
The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need To Read
The missing key to finally tapping into the universe and manifesting your desires.
The next book on our list has quite a bold title and it honestly turned me off at first. As a reserved introvert, I'm more likely to hedge my bets and use conservative language (even when I'm pretty darn confident). But ironically enough, this has been one of my biggest growth areas when it came to the law of attraction.
Manifestation isn't just about what you want or say, but how. The confidence, gratitude, and belief all matter. This book was a profound help in this area.
Although there are plenty of brilliant nuggets strewn throughout the book, I actually found the tone to be one of the most helpful elements. By the end of this title, I felt as though I had no more excuses. My life was fully a consequence of what I had expected of the universe. And going forward, I was going to expect much more (which is precisely what you're going to learn to do too).
The Magic of Manifesting
Far too many of us go around wearing the right masks and saying the right things to just fit in. β Ryuu Shinohara
The Magic of Manifesting
15 advanced techniques to attract your best life, even if you think it's impossible now.
Ryuu Shinohara, the author of this next recommendation, is a massively prolific author in the metaphysics space. He's written on everything from alignment to money to relationships, and understands intimately how each of these areas fits together for a healthy practitioner of LoA.
One of my favorite aspects of his materials are the examples he includes from popular culture. His stories include manifestation success stories from Olympic athletes, movie stars, and other influential figures. As an avid biography reader, this just made me love the book that much more.
On an informational level, I found this book to be thoroughly comprehensive β and second only to the final book on our list in terms of the scope of topics covered. As a beginner, you definitely don't need to know everything in order to make the Law of Attraction work for you. But, as you develop, this will be a great resource to revisit again and again.
Super Attractor
Patient people give off an energy of expansion, peace, and grace. β Gabrielle Bernstein
Gabby Bernstein is hands-down one of my favorite writers in this space. Her books are authentic, deep, and actionable. So, when I heard she was writing one called Super Attractor that dove into advanced manifestation techniques, I knew it'd be good.
And the book did not disappoint. I actually wrote a complete book summary and recorded a short video detailing what I learned.
Some of the most helpful takeaways from the book were the choose again method, the emotional guidance scale, and the 4-step alignment method. If you're curious and want to know more details before picking up the book, check out one of the linked summaries!
The Law of Attraction
The greatest gift you can ever give another person is your own happiness. β Abraham Hicks
My final recommendation is easily the most influential LoA book of the last century. Yes, even more than The Secret.
If you're unfamiliar with their story, Esther and Jerry Hicks were spiritual seekers who are said to have encountered a spirit named Abraham who revealed a series of powerful insights. Some believe this Abraham to be the same as that found in Judeo-Christian texts, although there is some debate.
Even if you're unsure about their background, the resulting book is a non-negotiable must-read for serious manifesters. It is the foundation on which every other title on this list is built, and I wouldn't be where I am today without it.
Your dream life awaits
If you're curious about all this Law of Attraction stuff and can't seem to get it out of your mind, I'd take that as a sign. The universe wants good things for you. I know, that can be hard to believe at first, especially if you've come from difficult circumstances like I did.
But your story is only just beginning and the desires you feel are there for a reason. Now is your chance to see what's next.
